Dental Implants

Dental Implants is the ideal solution for replacing one or more missing teeth. We can help you get that confident smile back once again. Our dental implant clinic can offer you a permanent and aesthetic tooth replacement that will make you feel like you have your tooth back again.

Dental Implants is a small titanium replacement for the root part of your tooth that fuses to the bone. A connecting piece called an abutment is attached to the implant, which is capped by a life-like prosthesis crown working together. These precision parts form a tooth-replacement system that offers unparalleled advantages. Besides replacing a single tooth, a dental implant can also support a group of teeth or a complete set of teeth. They can even help & stabilize removable dentures.

A tooth implant prevents the loss of surrounding bone. This type of bone loss is inevitable when you lose even one tooth or multiple teeth. The tooth loss increases, with bone loss. Losing bone decreases supports of your facial structure & can make you look older than you are. The longer the missing tooth, the greater is the deterioration. This can cause teeth implantation more difficult. Thanks to the relatively routine procedure known as bone grafting for the dental implant. A technique that can regenerate bone that has been lost to ensure the success of your dental implant. Dental implants can halt bone loss. That’s because dental implants fuse to the bone, becoming one with it within a period of weeks or months.

We use advanced surgical techniques, the highest quality materials and select the most appropriate and suited implant system for your particular case, with the best compatibility and highest success rates. Our dental implants look natural with long-term reliability.

Our dental implants will feel exactly like your own, and they will look good, giving you the confidence to smile more often. Healthy neighboring teeth are not damaged to fix bridges in place, and tissue and bone structures are maintained, providing you with good facial support. Our dental tooth implants offer a secure solution and are suitable for all ages.

Why Choose Dental Implants?

  • Missing teeth: If you are missing one or more teeth, dental implants may be the best option for replacement.
  • Aesthetics: They can look like a natural tooth and will sit in the gum in the same way as a natural tooth.
  • No damage to remaining teeth: Unlike bridges or dentures, dental implants do not require support from other teeth.
  • Prevent bone loss: Having a dental implant in the bone will stop the bone from shrinking and maintain facial support and structure.
  • Increased life of remaining teeth: Dental implants will protect the remaining teeth from excessive forces and stop teeth migrating, tilting, and over-erupting.
  • Fixed: Dental implants are set in your mouth and do not require removal as with dentures.
  • No more fillings or sensitivity: Dental implants will never need a filling or root canal treatment, and they will never be sensitive.

In most cases, the Implant placement is rapid and practically pain-free. Most people find implant placement to be a more pleasant procedure than having a tooth removed. If you still feel nervous or apprehensive, we can provide you with oral or intravenous sedation so that you can be away with the fairies while you have your implants placed.

We will never leave you with a visible gap and will always make sure your smile looks excellent throughout treatment. At the end of the treatment, you will have a brand new tooth that looks, feels, and functions exactly like a natural tooth. There are 3 different types of tooth replacements, described as follows:

  1. Immediate Tooth Replacement: Do you require teeth in a day? If you are about to lose a tooth, we can arrange to have it removed and place an implant at the same visit so that nobody would ever know what happened. Immediate implant placement is possible if there is no infection and there is sufficient bone.
  2. Single Tooth Replacement: If only one tooth is missing, a single dental implant is the standard gold method of tooth replacement. It will not damage adjacent teeth as with a bridge or denture. It will maintain the positions of the remaining teeth by preventing them from moving into the space. It will preserve the bone and help retain the architecture gum around the teeth and allow for superior aesthetic results compared to other forms of treatment.
  3. Multiple Teeth Replacements: If more than one tooth is lost, it is possible to have two or more implants adjacent to one another. It is also possible to have implants joined together with a bridge without needing an individual implant per tooth. This procedure can be much more cost-effective than individual implant replacements, and as the implants join together as a fixed bridge, minor surgery is involved, meaning minimal cutting of the gums and quicker healing!

If you have lost your teeth, we can provide dental implants to support or anchor a fixed, stable, permanent aesthetic bridge. The number of dental implants required to support an entire arch bridge will depend on the anatomy of the jaw bone, the number of teeth needed, the type of necessary bridge, and the opposing teeth. An entire arch of dental implants can be placed when the teeth have been missing for a long time or when the remaining teeth have failed and require removing. In the latter case, it can even be arranged to have the remaining teeth removed and the implants placed on the same day.

Dental Implants Process

  • Consultation:

During the Dental Implant Consultation, the implant surgeon will carry out a thorough examination of your entire mouth, including your teeth, jaws, gums, soft tissues, and occlusion. He will then assess the future implant site and take some measurements for the future tooth and the bone currently available. He will take some x-rays of your jaw bone to measure the height of bone available for implant placement and identify the location of critical structures within the jaw bone. In some circumstances, it is also necessary to arrange a CBCT scan if space for the implant is minimal or limited by other structures, and it is essential to assess the proximity of the critical structures and remaining bone concerning the future implant. At this appointment, your surgeon will give you all the options for treatment and the advantages and disadvantages of each, and you can have a detailed discussion about your treatment. Plans can also be made for a temporary tooth replacement so that you never have a visible gap through treatment.

  • Placement Surgery:

On the day of surgery, we can arrange for you to watch a movie or listen to music, or if you prefer, we can provide you with oral or intravenous sedation so that you are completely relaxed throughout the surgery. Most of our patients choose to have treatment without sedation as the implant surgeon is very gentle during surgery and takes great effort to cause minimum disturbance to the surrounding tissues in your mouth, which also helps you heal much quicker. Dental Implant Placement can either be a one-step or a two-step procedure. For the one-step implant placement, the abutment or healing cap is placed simultaneously as the implant. For the two-step implant placement, the dental implant is placed in the bone, and the gum is covered over. The implant is exposed at a later stage, and the abutment is attached after healing. The implant is left to integrate with your jaw bone for 2-4 months, and a temporary tooth prosthesis can always be provided during that time so that you never have a gap.

  • Abutments or Healing Caps:

If a two-step procedure was carried out, the implant would be exposed after three months, and the healing caps or abutments will be attached.

  • Crowns or Bridges:

Impressions are taken for the new implant crown or, in the case of multiple teeth, the implant bridge once the gums have formed and shaped around the healing caps. All crowns and bridges are made with great detail and attention to achieve a proper tooth-like appearance. The finest most aesthetic porcelains and ceramics are layered using several shades to achieve outstanding results.

Today dentistry has come up with options for positively bionic tooth replacement. It’s called dental implants & is arguably the most critical dental technology to date. Tooth loss can affect function & aesthetics in one’s life. Failure of the tooth causes deterioration of the jawbones, affecting how the facial muscles drape over the facial skeleton.
